Our Story
Where the Baby Goose Story Began
Our story began in Thailand, where we were living when my daughter, Delilah, was born.
A few months before her first birthday, we moved back home to Bangladesh. As her first birthday approached, I wanted to find her a birthday dress that felt truly special — something beautiful enough for such an important milestone, but still soft, comfortable, and baby-friendly.
I searched everywhere, hoping to find that perfect dress.
But I kept running into the same problem. The pieces I found were either made from materials that didn’t feel soft and comfortable against a baby’s delicate skin, sometimes even seeming a little itchy, or they came with a price tag that didn’t seem justified by the quality. I wanted something special without having to compromise on comfort, quality, or value.
So, I started asking my friends who had children where they bought their children's clothes — both for special occasions and everyday wear. Their answer surprised me.
They told me that they would plan ahead and, whenever they travelled abroad, bring children's clothing back with them because they found the quality, comfort, and styles they were looking for outside of home.
That’s when I realized there was something missing. There were parents looking for beautiful, high-quality children's clothing that felt comfortable and special, but finding it locally wasn’t always easy.
And that’s when the little idea that would become Baby Goose began to hatch. 🥚
From One Little Idea to Baby Goose
I reached out to one of my favorite children's clothing brands, KIKI Baby in Thailand. I had always loved dressing Delilah in their clothes, and I was consistently impressed by their quality, beautiful designs, comfort, and value.
I contacted them to see if they would be interested in partnering with me to bring their clothing to more families.
To my absolute joy, they said yes.
And just like that, the little idea that started with searching for Delilah’s first birthday dress began to grow into Baby Goose.
A Family Affair
Today, Baby Goose is very much a family journey.
My daughter, Delilah, and my son, Darius, are both a big part of the Baby Goose story. They help me decide what to order, tell me what they think would be fun, come with me to every exhibition, help me decorate the store, and even interact with our customers.
They may be little, but they have a surprisingly big say in Baby Goose!
And honestly, working alongside them is my favorite part of it all.
Baby Goose was born from my love for my children and my desire to find clothing that was beautiful, comfortable, and made with little ones in mind.
What started with one birthday dress has grown into something I’m so proud to share with other families.
